John Boyega photobombing fans at Star Wars Celebration is just the best thing

What would you do if you got to hang out with Finn from Star Wars? Would you take a trip around town, get into trouble, or just take silly photos? A few fans got a taste of what hanging out with the Stormtrooper-turned-Resistance hero would be like when John Boyega photobombed them at Star Wars Celebration 2017:

Boyega wasn't just doing this for funsies, though. It's all part of the "Force for Change" charity drive, where Lucasfilm, Disney, and Omaze team up to give donators fabulous prizes while simultaneously giving money to UNICEF Kid Power and the Starlight Children's Foundation to help kids in need.

Donate $10 or more and you'll be entered for a chance to win a night at Skywalker Ranch, where you'll get a private screening of Star Wars: A New Hope, or a visit to the set of (and chance to appear in!) the young Han Solo movie, or an invitation to the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, where you'll get to walk the red carpet and hang out with the cast and crew.

I don't expect I'll win any of the grand prizes, but that's okay - seeing John Boyega make fans this happy is a fine consolation prize.

Pics and hugs weren't the only things happening at SWC of course - there was also news regarding the Star Wars land expansions coming to Disneyland and Disney World, and the Star Wars Battlefront 2 reveal.
