Best Stardew Valley gifts for all the bachelors and bachelorettes

Handing out the correct Stardew Valley gifts in the game is the best way to build up your relationships with the 12 bachelor and bachelorette NPCs, and if you keep getting things right this could even lead to marriage. However, this can be easier said than done, as if you want to win your way into their hearts with gifts then you need to understand the specific desires of your prospective paramour.

Each of the 12 Stardew Valley characters has specific loves and likes for certain items, and it’s incredibly important to know what they are so that you don’t waste your time giving them things that might affect your budding friendship (or even romance). So, we’ve put together a list of all the characters you can try to woo, and what to give them to get into their good books. Universal gifts

There are a few gifts that every single villager loves to receive in Stardew Valley, known as "universal" gifts. Here's a full list of all the universal loves which provide 80 relationship points, but can be seriously tough to find. There are a few exceptions to the rules here, as some characters dislike otherwise universally liked items, but we've outlined these below.

Alex lives in the house south-east of Pierre's General Store with his grandparents Evelyn and George. He's friends with Haley and has a dog called Dusty.
