Nintendo Switch drops to record low price at Amazon and Very

Nintendo Switch deals have been picking up in recent months, but recent Nintendo Switch OLED pre-orders have turbo-charged the savings hitting the UK. That's all culminated in a brand new record low price on the console this week, with both Amazon and Very offering a £259.99 price tag on the £279.99 console

That's only £20 off, but straight savings on this particular device are exceedingly rare. We've seen Nintendo Switch Lite deals offering a similar discount sporadically over the last few months, but the main console has never dropped below £265 before - and even that was a discount worth shouting about.

While this price is about it's difficult to recommend picking up any Nintendo Switch bundles. Offers going for £299 with a game included would have been impressive last week, but now that the console has dropped in price it's far better value to pick up your games separately.

What's more, today's discount means big things for potential Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals. This is a permanent price decrease in the UK, which means we could see costs drop even further come November.
