Hayley Atwell talks LA move in Agent Carter season two

Marvel's Agent Carter is relocating to Los Angeles for its second season - and star Hayley Atwell tells SFX she's hoping for a tantalising touch of film noir in her next bout of adventures.

"I keep thinking of something like LA Confidential, especially in the 1940s," she says. "I associate it with organised crime and this very glamorous, dark underbelly of Los Angeles; serial killers, The Black Dahlia, these unsolved murder mysteries… and the glamour of celebrity, or the neurosis that celebrity created. That could be a very exciting backdrop to have more adventures for Peggy."

And it sounds as if the SSR's finest is ready to open her heart again - inbetween socking bad guys up the bracket, of course.

"I think it’s also time that she moves on from Steve. I think there might be a new love interest. She’s grieved enough now, come on. We all have needs."

You can read more from Hayley in the latest issue of SFX, on sale now.

Season one of Agent Carter is currently showing on FOX in the UK.
