Will Mystique go it alone?

Mystique going solo?
X-Men Mystique and Gambit may be getting their own solo films. According to Entertainment Weekly , producer Lauren Shuler Donner said she’s interested in taking Mystique further in her own film: “I’d like to do Gambit. I’d like to do Deadpool. We’ll see. There’s a lot of really great characters.” X-Men: Days Of Future Past producer and writer Simon Kinberg is keen to give Jennifer Lawrence her own Mystique movie too – “There’s so much more opportunity if you were to follow her solo" – and we're sure 20th Century Fox would like to take advantage of J-Law being one of the biggest stars on the planet. But if you ask us, we need to see some Cajun action and give Gambit some more screen time!

Comixology and Amazon join forces
Comic book and graphic novel digital platform Comixology has been acquired by online shopping behemoths Amazon. The iTunes of comics, Comixology offers up digital editions of titles from Marvel, DC and loads of other publishers to read on the go. It's not yet known if the Comixology brand will remain, but we'd be surprised if this isn't great news for Kindle users.

Star Wars is to shoot in Abu Dhabi. Anakin and Luke's home planet of Tatooine has previously been recreated in Tunisia, but The Hollywood Reporter says that the current political climate in the North African country means that desert world is relocating to the Middle East.
