The Justice League prologue may have just been revealed (SPOILERS)

WARNING: This article contains mild spoilers for Justice League: Part One.

For all its faults, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did manage to lay the groundwork for the upcoming Justice League movies. Not only did we get a brief look at Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash, but a deleted scene gave us a few hints at what the villains will be up to in the film. While it was reported earlier this week that Steppenwolf will be the primary villain in Justice League: Part One, Heroic Hollywood may have some more info on what Darkseid will be up to in the film.

According to the site, Darkseid visited Earth long before the events of Justice League; "We see Darkseid in the beginning of the film in a flashback sequence. Around 30,000 years ago, the Amazonians, the Atlanteans, and Man successfully fought off Darkseid here on Earth. He left three motherboxes behind and that folks is what Steppenwolf is after in Justice League: Part One. That is pretty much your plot". The three mother boxes Heroic Hollywood alludes to - in addition to Steppenwolf - can be seen in the deleted scene below...

The flashback would make for an effective introduction to Darkseid, but with reports that the Justice League script is being constantly rewritten it's best to take this rumour with a grain of salt.

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher, Justice League: Part 1 is currently scheduled for a November 17, 2017 release.
