How to get Soulstone in Task Bar Hero
Here’s everything you need to know about Task Bar Hero Soulstone
Task Bar Hero Soulstone is a very rare Immortal Grade item that you can collect, and it's sorely needed if you want to progress through all three Acts. It acts like a key, letting you face the final stage of each Act and have a shot at Act Boss Chests for great loot. While they aren’t easy to get, there are some things you can do that will at least help, so I've explained how to get Soulstones in Task Bar Hero below and what exactly they're used for if you're still a bit confused.
How to get Task Bar Hero Soulstone
Soulstones in Task Bar Hero have a low drop rate from chests of any kind, so getting any is mainly reliant on pure luck. You can also get Soulstones from trading using Steam marketplace, but at the time of writing, this function has been temporarily shut off. Bear in mind that buying Soulstones from Steam marketplace also means they will cost real money.
In my opinion, it is absolutely not worth doing this as unlocking the right Task Bar Hero Runes can increase your odds of getting more Soulstones instead. Specifically, you want to focus on Runes of Exploration and Runes of Conquest as each one will slightly increase the drop chance of Common Chests and Stage Boss Chests respectively. More chests mean more chances to get Soulstone.
I also recommend using the Portal feature to warp back to a slightly earlier stage, letting your party stomp through as quickly as possible and, if you're lucky, gather Common and Stage Boss Chests at a reasonable pace – if you want some formation pointers, this guide on the best Task Bar Hero build will help.
Once you've got a Soulstone or several, you can spend them on accessing the final Stage of any Act to face its Act Boss. These bosses are very tough but also have a chance of dropping Act Boss Chests which contain great loot, so make sure you've got the characters that top the Task Bar Hero tier list in your party to make these fights easier. You need a Soulstone every time you want to fight one of these Act Bosses too, so getting as many Soulstones as you can is key to farming for the best possible gear.
