How to break Yellow Barriers in Saros

To break Yellow Barriers in Saros requires a very specific ability, but while you'll encounter these yellow obstacles very early in the game and have to just endure them existing for the vast majority of the game. It's worth understanding how to smash them though, as otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of potential upgrades and collectibles. To help you crack through them, here's how to get past the Yellow Barriers in Saros and what abilities you need to find.

How to get past Yellow Barriers in Saros

Yellow Barriers in Saros can only be broken through if you have the Blazing Strike permanent upgrade, the last of all the Saros abilities you'll get in the whole game.

To get the upgrade, you need to progress to Act 3 of Saros and enter the Yellow Shore biome for the first time. Once you do so, you'll be almost immediately presented with a Yellow Barrier, and given the Blazing Strike upgrade that allows you to break through.

The Blazing Strike attack has other functions beyond simply breaking through barriers – it allows you to teleport to staggered enemies for the finishing blow, as well as breaking through Yellow Containers without the need for a key.

It's worth mentioning that if you come across Red Barriers, you can break those from the beginning of the game by simply hitting them with a melee attack (R1). That applies to the Yellow ones too, as long as you have Blazing Strike.
