Studio Ghibli is releasing a new short film in July, but it'll only be available at Ghibli Park in Japan.
Per the official Studio Ghibli website, Night in the Valley of Witches (Majyo no Tani no Yoru) will start screening on July 8 exclusively at the Orion Theater in the Ghibli Park's Grand Warehouse. The film is set in the Valley of Witches area at the theme park and is the first Studio Ghibli animated film created specifically for Ghibli Park.
Directed by Goro Miyazaki (Tales from Earthsea, From Up on Poppy Hill) and Akihiko Yamashita (who was the animation director for Howl's Moving Castle). Miyazaki (who is indeed the son of Hayao Miyazaki), and Yamashita will host the July 8 screening and introduce the film to 150 lucky attendees. We don't have any details about the film's plot just yet, but we do have a poster, which you can check out below.

Ghibli Park, located in Nagakute, Aichi, Japan, opened in 2022 and is more of an immersive museum than a theme park. It has several locations based on various Ghibli films, including The Cat Returns, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle. The Valley of Witches area is inspired by Kiki's Delivery Service and contains two small children's rides (the only two in the entire park).
The Studio Ghibli catalog is streaming now on HBO Max. For more, check out the new anime coming this year.
