The Punisher arrives in first full trailer for Daredevil season 2

Life's never straightforward for superheroes is it? Daredevil's first season concluded with the villainous Wilson Fisk behind bars and lawyer-turned-crime-fighter Matt Murdock tucking a major good deed beneath his belt. But there's always a new threat to face when you're kicking the ass of crooks on a regular basis - and now Murdock's new adversary in town takes command of this full trailer for Daredevil season 2.

We're talking about Frank Castle aka The Punisher. Played by Jon Bernthal, Castle arrives in Hell's Kitchen eager to wipe out the criminal element with his own unique brand of justice. “You know you’re one bad day away from being me,” he whispers in the trailer as a nod to his tragic backstory. Check it out below.

Castle's tale doesn't seem quite as cut and dry as Kingpin's. He does seem to harbor a desire to do good, but in a way that counteracts the work of Daredevil who he calls a "half measure" before going on to tell him: "I think you're a man who can't finish the job... you're a coward." Ouch.

Starring Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Elodie Yung, Stephen Rider, Jon Bernthal, and Rosario Dawson, Daredevil season 2 arrives on Netflix March 18.
