Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire: How to watch the first episode

You'll need to know how to watch the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire stream to catch all the latest news about the game, and you're already set.

Developer CD Projekt Red plans to host a 25-minute presentation starting on Thursday, June 25 at 9 am PDT / noon EDT / 5 pm BST, and you can catch it all as soon as it begins via the Twitch embed above.

There are two things you should know about this presentation going in: first, it will include a new trailer, a new look at gameplay, and an interview with developers about Cyberpunk 2077's in-game "braindance" augmented-reality feature; and second, it will be the first episode in an ongoing series.

CD Projekt Red hasn't said anything about when we can expect more episodes of Night CIty Wire to air yet, though if we're lucky we'll learn more about future installments before the first episode goes off the air.

The initial teaser tweet includes an extremely brief snippet of a video, showing a flying vehicle swooping toward the Night City skyline. It looks a bit like the air ambulances that the Trauma Team uses.

From teases we've received before - as well as context drawn from the Cyberpunk tabletop roleplaying games that inspired CD Projekt Red - we know braindance is basically an extremely potent, futuristic version of augmented reality. Braindance allows you to replay memories or events using special hardware that interfaces with, what else, your brain. It sounds like it could significantly expand the kind of adventures you'll have in Night City. Maybe you could even experience what it would be like to live as a wandering monster hunter in a grim fantasy world…

We don't know what form future episodes of Night City Wire will take, but at least they give us something else to look forward to after the latest delay to Cyberpunk 2077.

Take an early look at the Cyberpunk 2077 map while you wait for Night City Wire to begin, and get a Cyberpunk 2077 pre-order nailed down to ensure you're playing as early as possible.
