Rumour: Star Wars Episode VII to pick up with Luke, Han and Leias kids?
Star Wars: The Next Generation?
Ever since Star Wars: Episode VII was officially announced, the rumour mill has been in overdrive as to what direction the new trilogy of movies will take.
So far we’ve been led to believe that the films will follow on from the original trilogy in terms of timeframe, and now the latest rumour is that the story will follow the children of Luke, Leia and Han.
Thus, the events won’t follow on immediately from the end of Return Of The Jedi , but will be set some years down the track. And apparently, all our favourite characters have been very busy indeed.
Does this mean that Harrison Ford has re-signed to play a disapproving dad, or will Han be the kind of irresponsible pop who leaves his blaster lying around? Or is the whole thing nonsense? We just don’t know for sure.
Hopefully J.J. Abrams will let some more concrete details slip sooner rather than later. Until that happens, we’ll just have to keep speculating until the film arrives in 2015.
