After appearing - and then disappearing - from retail giant Gamestop's website months ago, PS3 and PSP versions of the hugely successful (and just plain huge) RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion have finally been confirmed.
The PS3 version of the game, due in November, will include new content - most notably a new faction, the Knights of the Nine, perhaps the focus of rumored Oblivion expansion pack Knights of the White Stallion for PC owners.
The PSP game, meanwhile, isn't due until next spring. Called The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion, it's expected to be a side story to Oblivion proper, likely with a different control system and a more confined game world; it's asking a little much of the PSP to manage the whole Oblivion experience, after all.
