The Loop 

City Marina

At the east side of The Loop, east of Grant Park, you’ll find this Hotspot in front of a well-kept brick building.

Fort Dearborn Massacre

When you get close to the marker, you’ll notice this Hotspot is at a cross-shaped building. It’s at the north point of the cross, next to the ‘VESSALMART’ entrance.

Chicago Eastland Disaster

You can find this Hotspot near the edge of the waterway, across the street from the Pleasant Stay Hotel.

Ocean Tower

This tower’s Hotspot can be found near its entrance, notable for its dark one-way windows.

Aon Centre

Found north of Grant Park, this Hotspot is at the base of the tower’s fountains.

Bram Steffan Pavilion

In the middle of Grant Park, this pavilion can be spotted on the map by its mesh-like design. The Hotspot is right in the middle of the pavilion.

Forever Sculpture

This bean-shaped sculpture at the west side of Grant Park is hard to miss. The Hotspot itself is on the west side of the sculpture.

Face Fountain

Look for these large squares slightly south of the Forever Sculpture.

Secret Six

Found west of Grant Park, this Hotspot can be found near a pair of blue awnings.

Chicago Arts & Sciences Centre

At the south end of the building, look for the bookstore banners and the ATM near the Hotspot.

Randolph Street Subway Terminal

This Hotspot is at the same building as the Chicago Arts & Sciences Centre Hotspot, only it’s located on the northeast corner. Look for the Cold Fear poster above the check-in.

Tremont House Hotel

This sneaky Hotspot is hiding behind a newsstand and a couple of amusingly outdated payphones.

35 East Wacker Drive

For this Hotspot, look for the sculpture and the newsstand nearby. There might also be a guitar player present.

Abraham Lincoln Statue

The Hotspot is at the base of the statue and the statue itself is large enough to spot, provided you get down to the city’s water level.

Ambrose Theatre

To best find this Hotspot, look for the concert posters and the corner clock on the building.

Lombardo Murder

On what is otherwise a generic building, this check-in can be spotted by the brass door frames nearby.

Haymarket Square Riot

This Hotspot is easy--just look for the large jazz poster.

Desplaines Street Police Station

Here you have another Hotspot in another nondescript building in downtown Chicago. Your best bet is to look for the mailbox and the newspaper boxes.

Chicago Commerce Building

This is Hotspot can be easily found at the entrance of the commerce building, just in front of the three doors.

Miller Rail’s Bar

This Hotspot can be found at the bar’s outside seating area.

Seventh Federal Bank

Like many old banks, this one is marked with several columns. Look for the Hotspot those columns, as well as a sidewalk bench.

WKZ-TV

WKZ-TV wouldn’t be a proper media outlet unless its building has a proper news ticker. Look for the ticker near the Hotspot.

Raven Building

There are very few Hotspots in Chicago that are right in front of a pair of revolving doors. This is one of them.

Palin Correctional Centre

You can find this Hotspot at the north entrance of the correctional centre.

Lexington Hotel

This might be another Pleasant Stay Hotel, but it was originally the Lexington Hotel. This Hotspot is easily found at the hotel’s entrance.

Bloody Maxwell Police Station

This nondescript police station’s Hotspot is near the building’s double door entrance.

South Tech University

You’ll find this university at the southeast end of The Loop. The Hotspot itself is at the building’s main entrance.

Meadowmoore Dairies

As with other water-level Hotspots, you might need to drop down from street level, so watch your step. This check-in is near a trio of portable toilets.

Saffard Memorial Fountain

Saffard Memorial Fountain is the most ornate fountain in all of Chicago. The Hotspot is on the south end of the fountain.

Carding Centre

Look for a classy looking auditorium to find the Carding Centre. The Hotspot is at the centre’s southeast corner.

Cree Theatre

The Cree Theatre doesn’t look like a theatre at all, but rather another nondescript metropolitan building. Look for this Hotspot near one of the block corners and the stairs leading up to the L-Train platform.

City Hall

This part of City Hall is a literal hall that resembles a fancy post office or shopping arcade. The Hotspot is close to the centre of the hall.

St. Jude Police League

This police organisation centre features some very fancy fountains outside its entrance. Look for the Hotspot near the fountains.

Vault Tower

The base of this tower might look generic, but at least there’s a scissor lift nearby as a reliable marker for this Hotspot.

Willis Tower

This Hotspot might be called Willis Tower, but it’s easier to look for the Connell Square logos.

Bootlegging Factory

There isn’t a bootlegging factory in this part of town anymore. Just look for the music store and pizzeria awnings.

Harbor Lighthouse

If you’re having trouble completing your collection of Hotspots, look toward the east in the world map. See that tiny island? Once you park at the lighthouse, the check-in marker will be waiting for you at the dock.
