Winter is coming. Get a quilt for charity
Child’s Play’s annual charity is next week. Bid on Awesomeness for a good cause.
Live in the greater Seattle area and are interested in helping a good cause? Sprite Stitch, a gamer-centric arts & crafts community site, is working in collaboration with Child’s Play to procure a handmade quilt next week at the charity group’s annual dinner auction. Per the details on the Child's Play official blog, the dinner will take place a week from today at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. The group is still taking donations for auction items, but it’s going to be hard to top this beauty:
Among the other items also up for auction: A Mario-themed quilt, a autographed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition, and a replica Portal gun. Seattle-ites, gamers across the 48 contiguous states and beyond envy your proximity to this event. Let us know if you attend and drop any bids.
