Ori and the Blind Forest is your Best Xbox Game for the 2015 Golden Joystick Awards

Genetic augmentation and power armor are good advantages to have when fighting an interplanetary war, but they hold little sway over the general adorableness that is Ori and the Blind Forest. Moon Studios' 2D platformer about a spritely orphan rabbit … thing … sprinted and leapt into enough hearts that it took home the title of Best Xbox Game at the 2015 Golden Joystick Awards, beating out crowd favorite Master Chief.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection did manage to take the runner-up title however, while Insomniac's colorful Sunset Overdrive took 3rd place. Were you in Chief's corner? Don't worry - everyone's favorite green armor-wearing supersoldier can take another stab at 1st with the 2016 Golden Joystick Awards, for which Halo 5: Guardians will be eligible.
