Hasbro just said "to me, my nerds" with a replica Cyclops visor based on X-Men '97, and it's a doozy.
Designed as part of the Hasbro Pulse premium roleplay line (like last year's phenomenal Wolverine helmet or a remake of the Incredible Hulk Fists from our childhood) this recreates Scott Summers' signature eyewear as seen in the animated X-Men '97 series. As with so many of the best toys, the replica Cyclops visor also features premium detailing and lights up at the press of a button. Oh, and you can wear it. Did I forget to mention that?
The Cyclops Premium Roleplay Visor will be up for pre-order at Hasbro Pulse and the likes of Amazon from May 6 at 1pm ET. It'll then launch at some point in Summer 2026.
Fortunately, this isn't a one-size-fits-all sorta deal; the visor has different nose clips and flexible sides to fit various face shapes. That means it isn't gonna slide off your face just when you strike a pose at this year's Halloween party (mortifying).
Article continues belowNot that you have to slap it on, of course. If you'd prefer to keep the visor on display instead, it features a blackout back for the lens to really help the light effect pop alongside a frame that makes sure its ear pieces stay in the right place.
Speaking of the lighting, something I really appreciate about the Cyclops replica visor is that it can display different settings (full beam down to barely-on, or a flashing mode to simulate firing) at the press of a button on the side of the frame – just like the cartoon. That can bring your costume to life if you're wearing it to a Con or an Avengers: Doomsday showing later this year.

Does the visor's chunkiness make it look somewhat goofy when on a real-life human being? I mean, a little. But because it's based on the animated X-Men '97 series, that oversized design is sort of the point. And if it's a deal-breaker, hey - maybe we'll get a sleeker, more realistic version down the road based on James Marsden's new costume in Doomsday? Stranger things have happened.
Here's what Hasbro Pulse has to say about the collectible:

I've also been obsessed with Warhammer since the 1990s, and love nothing more than running tabletop RPGs like D&D as a Dungeon Master.
