Despite being one of Nintendo's most beloved franchises, it's been a long time since Star Fox merch has been released – but that's about to change.
Reports are surfacing online that a host of plushy Star Fox merch will be launching this June, presumably to coincide with the unexpectedly-announced Switch 2 remake. Because it's been years since Fox, Peppy, Falco, or Slippy were seen amongst the best toys, these are causing a stir.
Collectibles-focused X/Twitter account @sanei_NLG broke the news, and is reporting that they'll cost roughly 3,300 yen, which is around $21/£15. Each plush sits at around 25cm tall as well, and seems to blend the original Star Fox 64 designs with the newer versions.
There's no word yet on whether this Star Fox merch will be making its way to the US and UK Nintendo stores, so we'll just need to keep our fingers crossed when it launches in late June 2026.
Star Fox on the SNES (or Starwing, as it was known in my native UK), Star Fox 64, and Star Fox Adventures were a big part of my childhood, so I'm happy to see a resurgence of the Arwing-flying crew. First Fox appeared in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and now this… frankly, it's a good time to be a fan.
