Star Wars Battlefront's launch trailer probably isn't canon
The launch trailer for Star Wars Battlefront is filled with anachronisms: for instance, Han Solo doesn't pick an ill-advised fight with Darth Vader until after the fall of Echo Base. The game revels in bashing its photographically-detailed Star Wars toys together in totally non-canonical ways, though, so it's actually quite appropriate.
There aren't too many new details to suss out from the video, but it is full of gleeful "I know what they're referencing" moments like Boba Fett taking extra care not to fall into the sarlacc's maw (again). You can stage your own doomed Solo vs. Vader deathmatches when Star Wars Battlefront is released on November 17 in the US and November 19 in Europe.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
