Geothermal Valley - Bull's-Eye


Shoot 8 bull's-eyes with arrows.

Target #1

Hanging from an arch right by the Valley Farmstead camp, when you first enter the area.

Target #2

The second target hangs from the large tower in the middle of town.

Target #3

Turn around from the tower to spot this hanging from a tree.

Target #4

Check the wooden watchtower at the edge of town for another.

Target #5

Follow the path at the northern edge of the map, and you'll reach this target hanging from a tree by the waterfall.

Target #6

Check the area with the dead trees in the northern pocket of the valley. Hanging from one of the dead trees, near a cave, is the next target.

Target #7

Head for the broken walkway that crosses the river. Underneath a bridge on the north side is another target.

Target #8

That same walkway extends to the east, but you don't have to cross it. Instead, drop to the lower valley and look toward where the walkway ends to see the final target hanging from a tree.

Geothermal Valley - Fowl Play


Catch 5 chickens.

There's no easy way to map this one, but that doesn't mean the challenge is difficult at all. Simply look around the village at the northern part of the valley to see chickens wandering around. Catch and throw 5 of them into the pen in the middle of town to complete the challenge.

Geothermal Valley - Hung Out to Dry


Cut down 6 snared rabbits.

Rabbit #1

The first rabbit is hung by the wooden watchtower in the village.

Rabbit #2

Follow the path north out of the village to find another rabbit by a small shelter.

Rabbit #3

Take the ladder into the lower valley and check the other side of the nearest rock formation to find this.

Rabbit #4

Turn around from Rabbit #3 to spot this atop another rock.

Rabbit #5

Check by the bridge to the Ruins Encampment to find this.

Rabbit #6

Head for the icy water at the southwest corner of the map. Climb into the tree house there to find the final rabbit.

Geothermal Valley - High Diving


Make 4 high dives.

High Dive #1

There's a path by the Ruins Encampment that will take you behind the nearby waterfall. The first high dive plank is at its end.

High Dive #2

You can do this dive when tasked with lighting the signal fire. See the diving board across the gap? As you climb, you'll have a chance to drop to it.

High Dive #3

There's a wooden watchtower along the icy water at the southern end of the valley. You'll need to complete the side mission Defensive Strategy before you can climb it, but the third diving board will be at the top when you do.

High Dive #4

You can't complete the final dive until returning from the Flooded Archives - this opens the ridgeline in the northwest corner of the map. Check at the top of the waterfall to find it.

Geothermal Valley - Tossing Gourds


Make 5 shots with gourds.

You won't be able to complete this challenge until returning from the Flooded Archives (the Trinity soldiers will have left the area), but it's not a tough one. Head for the upper village, where you had to sneak or fight your way through to the cathedral, and go to the southwestern corner. Here you'll find a patch of gourds which you can pick up and toss into buckets. You need to make five shots: three over the fence by the patch, one up the ridge to the north, and one over the fence around the house to the south.
