Postal III tearing out a throat with a badger near you in early 2011. Probably

Pretend you're not intrigued.

It's going to be an interesting one. Postal has long prided itself on being the bad boy of the games industry, thiriving on notoriety and bad taste value as much as anything else - but building a loyal fan base regardless. But how will it fare now that seven years have diluted its profile somewhat? And games have changed a lot since Postal 2. Excessive violence and gore now come as default, and games are a muchmore accepting adult medium in general.

Will a new Postal have the impact or success of the old ones? It's all going to come down to how funny it is and how well it plays. And we'll let you know both of those things as soon as we get a chance.

Long-time GR+ writer Dave has been gaming with immense dedication ever since he failed dismally at some '80s arcade racer on a childhood day at the seaside (due to being too small to reach the controls without help). These days he's an enigmatic blend of beard-stroking narrative discussion and hard-hitting Psycho Crushers.
