Not much is known about the plot of The Last Knight at this stage, although a recent rumour suggests that it could tie in to the King Arthur mythology. In any case, what we can be sure of is that the film will contain more of the robot on robot action that fans of the franchise enjoy.
Directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Anthony Hopkins, and Peter Cullen, Transformers: The Last Knight will roll into cinemas on June 23, 2017.
