Entering Calibur11's COG Armor Suit giveaway is as simple as picking up a Gears of War 3 Vault on launch day, digging out the entry code, and entering it at Calibur11's website. Fans can also skip the purchasing part altogether and obtain a free code on the site after September 20th. On January 15th, 2012, Calibur11 will draw one grand prize winner to receive the fully-padded COG Armor Suit complete with helmet, industrial resin composite parts, and a 'high end automotive paint finish'. 100 runner-ups will receive an exclusive Bleed Out hoodie.
“Simply put, the COG Armor Suit is a sick prize that we’re proud to offer our community,” said Coy Christmas, CEO of Calibur11 (and owner of the best name ever) in a prepared announcement. “This is a unique item that any collector or Gears of War fan would love to own and the only way to have a chance of getting it is to get your code and enter.”
Calibur11's contest doesn't cost a thing, so it can't hurt to try for this rare Gears of War collectible. It may, however, hurt trying to drive and/or ride the bus while wearing the COG Armor Suit, so we suggest buying an extra large carrying case if you are lucky enough to win it.
