After rumors had been swirling for some time from sources that include the always believable toy boxes, and Traveler’s Tales and Warner Bros have finally made it official. There’s a sequel to Lego Batman coming and it’s planned for this summer on every system imaginable (360, PS3, Vita, Wii, 3DS. DS, and PC). What’s more, it looks like some of the Justice League is coming with him.
Above: World's Finest Legos
Titled Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, the sequel to the family-friendly adventure has dramatically expanded its scope of the DC mythos this time around. The game will feature Batman and Robin teaming up with costumed pals Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to battle Lex Luthor and the Joker in Gotham City. That’s probably just the start of a cavalcade of DC characters that will be included, we just hope Aquaman is playable instead of being relegated to a joke appearance. Which DC characters do you want to get the Lego treatment? Deathstroke? Jesse Quick? Booster Gold?
