Jason Momoa in talks to join Batman Vs. Superman

Jason Momoa could be the latest addition to the Batman Vs. Superman ensemble, with the Game Of Thrones star reportedly close to landing an unspecified role in the superhero sequel.

Having narrowly missed out on a part in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy , it looks as though Momoa will be joining the DC fold, with Heat Vision (opens in new tab) reporting that negotiations are already well underway.

Naturally, details as to who he might be playing are non-existent, although with the film’s big bad yet to be cast, it could be that Momoa will be lending his impressive frame to a more villainous role...

Doomsday is one antagonist who has been mentioned, and his hulking presence would certainly suit Momoa’s larger than life physique. However, for all we know he could be another hero to line up alongside Wonder Woman and the two title stars...

Directed by Zack Snyder and co-starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, Batman vs. Superman will open in the US on 17 July 2015.

Plus, here is what Zack Snyder and the Man Of Steel cast had to say about Doomsday when we asked them about the character earlier in 2013:

George was once GamesRadar's resident movie news person, based out of London. He understands that all men must die, but he'd rather not think about it. But now he's working at Stylist Magazine.
