Tomodachi Life Living the Dream personality types are what makes the game feel alive, and are important to pay attention to if you want a thriving island. They keep your Miis feeling unique, determine how they approach interactions with other island residents, their feelings, and their overall general attitude.

Personality types also determine your "Island Vibe" in the island Info menu, and house colors. And if that wasn't enough already, in my Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream review, I mention how collecting all of them is one of the best parts of Nintendo's new social sim.

That may seem stressful at first glance, but luckily, you can edit your Miis at any time and change personality types whenever you want. If you're after an easy guide on how to grab them all quickly, then you've come to the right place. Scroll on for a complete overview of all the Tomodachi Life Living the Dream personality types and what you'll need to do to get them.

Is there a personality compatibility system?

The good news is that Tomodachi Life Living the Dream doesn't have a compatibility system when it comes to Miis' personality types. So your Miis personalities won't affect romance or friendships. Relationships between Miis are instead dictated by their chosen dating preference and are also influenced by the real-life relationship options that you have the opportunity to decide on when making your Miis.

In terms of personality, romance and friendships are random. So feel free to pick and choose any kind of personality that you desire without worries, folks.
