Get a PS4 Pro for $50 off or a special edition PS4 slim in Sony's second Days of Play sale

Looking forward to all the cool E3 2018 games but want something new to play them on? For the second year in a row, Sony will kick off a nice selection of discounts on PS4 games and hardware with its Days of Play sale just in time for the big announcements. The stars are the deals on PS4 bundles, of course, but there are plenty of savings to be had on recent games and accessories as well from June 8 through 18.

First up, here's a better look at the brand new Days of Play Limited Edition PS4.

This 1TB slim system comes with an exclusive blue-and-gold design and a matching controller (the gold PlayStation symbols on the touchpad are a nice accent) or two matching controllers in the European version. At $299.99 (UK price TBA), it's the standard price for a 1TB PS4 slim, but the special design will only be available for a limited time. So if you like it, get yours while you can. But hey… why not spend a little extra and get a PS4 Pro instead?

Yep, the other big hardware deal is a temporary $50 price cut on PS4 Pro (sadly, no UK equivalent has been announced). You'll be able to pick up the standard Jet Black PS4 Pro bundle for $349.99. It doesn't include a game, but neither does the Days of Play system. And the PS4 Pro enhanced games you play on it will look extra nice - like God of War, for instance, which will be available for $49.99 throughout the sale.

Other savings include all colors of PS4 controller for $39.99, PlayStation VR bundles starting at $199.99, a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership for $49.99, and savings on various "catalog titles" - AKA stuff that's been out for a while - that you'll need to confirm with your retailer of choice. Check the PlayStation Blog's NA or EU counterparts for the full rundown.
