Felicity Jones has long been thought to be playing Felicia Hardy - also known as anti-hero Black Cat - in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 .
And while confirmation is still forthcoming, she's dropped a couple more hints that strongly suggest the rumours are true.
In a chat with Collider , she revealed that she's been rather hands-on with crafting a costume for her character, suggesting she could well be a super-hero/villain of some sort.
"It's a medium that's very collaborative," she said. "Actors and directors work on things together. That's how I like to work, anyway."
"I don't want to be told what to do. I want to share it with someone and work it out together. You know that person better than anyone. That's my job," she added.
Fans of the comics will know that with Dane DeHaan now all but guaranteed to be playing the Green Goblin, there's also an outside chance she could play Lily Hollister - a girlfriend of Osborn's who ends up masking up as the Goblin-esque villain known as Menace.
Or, she could be completely throwing a red herring and could only be referring to her on-screen civilian costume of some sort.
Let the speculation continue.
