Amazon has seemingly included a huge spoiler for The Boys season 5 on its homepage
The new trailer features some huge details
The Boys season 5 is in full swing with just a few more episodes to go until we see how it all ends for the Supes. Although exact details of what happens have mostly been kept under wraps, it seems some spoilers have slipped through the cracks.
If you want to avoid a major plot point in the final episodes, we suggest stopping here as we're about to get into potential spoilers. If you're not bothered, fans have spotted a detail from the latest trailer for the Prime Video satire.
A new TV spot featuring reviews has been added to the show's homepage on the streaming platform. This features a whole bunch of new footage, including a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment featuring Sister Sage emerging with Billy Butcher and The Boys. You can watch it here.
Article continues belowWhile we don't get any more context than the two characters standing next to each other and looking into a bright sun, it seems pretty clear that Sister Sage may be about to change her alliances. In The Boys season 5 episode 5, she did reveal her plan was to allow Homelander to die as she wants to see the Supe virus released and cause "World War Supe".
It does seem then that she is pretty aligned with Butcher's plan to release the virus too and hopefully kill Homelander. We're not super shocked then to see that these two characters may have a reluctant team up to put this in motion in the coming episodes.
Fans have been reacting to the moment on X, with one writing: "WTF THE BOYS AND SISTER SAGE TEAM UP." A second replied: "Even though this is a little shocking, let's be honest we all saw this coming a kilometer away." A third added: "It’s pretty obvious that she has wanted to kill homelander but I only really came to that conclusion last episode."
