The Highmark Hotel in Pittsburgh has welcomed the forthcoming shoot for The Dark Knight Rises by projecting the bat signal on to its building using lasers.
Production for the final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy will soon move to the city and continue until 20 August.
Meanwhile, details of the shoot for Zack Snyder's Superman movie have been revealed thanks to local newspaper reports and an official announcement to close a bridge.
The production of Superman: Man Of Steel , starring Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, will close the US 52 bridge over the Fox River in La Salle County, Illinois for three days.
The Kane County Chronicle also reported that filming will take place in Sugar Grove from 7-10 August.
The Illinois Film Office has also confirmed the movie will be filming for several days in September in Plano, the western suburbs and Chicago.
