Machete Kills has released a full trailer online, which is worth watching for its ridiculously starry line-up alone.

Danny Trejo returns as the titular badass, brought in by the president (played by Carlos Estevez, AKA Charlie Sheen) to stop a warlord who has a missile aimed at the White House (that’d be Mel Gibson).

The women in Machete’s life get a fair bit of screentime in the trailer too, with Michelle Rodriguez donning the eyepatch again, and Lady Gaga making one hell of an entrance.

Amber Heard's on hand to help out as Miss San Antonio, and Sofía Vergara makes pretty good use of her ‘Double Ds’ (just watch the trailer…)

Directed by Robert Rodriguez, Machete Kills opens in the US on 11 October 2013, with a UK release date to be confirmed.
