Exclusive: The World's End Animated Storyboards

Pub-loving actioner The World's End is hitting DVD and Blu-ray on Monday, and we've nabbed an exclusive look at some of the film's storyboards.

Showing how the film's opening two minutes were conceived, the animated sequence introduces us to our lead beer-guzzlers - and it's pretty interesting just how closely director Edgar Wright stuck to the original sketches.

The final instalment in Wright's Cornetto Trilogy (after Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz ), The World's End follows five friends who attempt to complete an epic pub crawl in the village of their youth.

But the village has changed a bit in the intervening years, leading to a full-scale orgy of action, fist fights and aliens. Oh yes.
