Wii U Digital Deluxe Promotion gives eShop credit for purchases

Wii U Deluxe owners will get some extra encouragement from Nintendo to fill up those 32 gigabytes of storage space. Today the company revealed its Deluxe Digital Promotion, a program which rewards Deluxe Set owners who make digital purchases with credit for more eShopping.

The points are all handled on an external website which will go live in December, and the promotion lasts from the Wii U's launch on November 18 to the end of 2014, with a few months after for slowpokes to claim earned credit.

The Wii U Deluxe set also includes a copy of Nintendo Land and 24 extra gigabytes of storage for $50 more than the Basic version.

What do you think? If you were on the fence about which kind of Wii U you wanted before, is the Digital Deluxe Promotion enough to tip the scales?
