I've been playing catch-up with Star Fox and Rhythm Paradise Groove, while coming to terms with the fact that Splatoon Raiders, Orbitals, and Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave are on the way, and I want to play them just as much.
That's a lot of Switch 2 games on the horizon, and their prices all add up. But fortunately, Newegg has dropped a new Nintendo gift card deal to make securing them less of a strain on my bank account. Newegg's current Nintendo Switch eShop gift card saves $25 off via a promo code, so I can grab $200 worth of funds for $175 instead. Sign me up!
I wish this deal was available far sooner.
If I were to add up the costs of all my recent Switch 2 pick-ups, which includes that of Star Fox, Rhythm Heaven Groove, Splatoon Raiders, Orbitals, and Fire Emblem's Fortune's Weave, I'd be looking at a combined cost of $249.99, when factoring in their digital MSRPs. Having a $200 Nintendo eShop gift card for only $175 instead could have saved me a chunk off my new and upcoming Switch 2 game library, but alas, this deal only appeared fairly recently.
At least it exists at all, and it's one you can take advantage of too if you want to help minimize the cost of your most anticipated Ninty releases. Just remember that this deal will be emailed to you as a code, which you'll need to redeem within the eShop app on your console. You'll also need to have a US Nintendo account, as this $200 worth of funds won't be valid otherwise.
When you do receive your funds, however, you'll be able to pre-order as many Switch 2 games as your $200 allows, or even pick up some DLC instead. I don't know about you, but I have my eye on the Pokemon Pokopia Bubbly Basin DLC coming this August too.
