Watch Ryan Reynolds grill Hugh Jackman about X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Ryan Reynolds doesn't normally conduct junket interviews, but we wish he did it more often. The Deadpool actor - whose film has been breaking box office records for the past week - stopped by the US junket for Hugh Jackman's Eddie the Eagle recently to ask him a few questions.

Hilariously, Reynolds' questions had nothing to with Jackman's latest film and almost everything to do with X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a film which didn't work out so well for reasons Reynolds is clearly still sore about. Check out the results below...

We can't give Reynolds an A for preparation - the "You play Eddie?" question gets the interview off to an awkward start - but when you can recover with questions like "How much of Hugh Jackman’s immense success is raw talent, and how much is just advantageous bone structure?", it doesn't really matter as much...

On a (slightly) more serious note, Reynolds makes sure to jest about Deadpool's diabolical treatment in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, asking "Did you guys get any notes from the studio to sew Eddie’s mouth shut… make lasers shoot from his eyes?" All in all, the actors' friendly tête-à-tête is extremely fun to watch. Is it too much to hope for a Wolverine cameo in Deadpool 2?

Directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano, Deadpool is playing in UK and US cinemas now.
