That’s why next week’s XBLA release Ms. Splosion Man is newsworthy, as the pricing harkens back to a simpler time, an era when charging 800 points for a marquee game wasn’t considered a rare treat. Available next week on the 13th, Ms. Splosion Man is the sequel to one of our favorite XBLA titles of all time. Splosion Man was a fun and challenging new spin on classic 2D gameplay with hilarious musicand some of the best post-modern use of FMV we’ve ever seen. Splosion Man also retailed for 800 points, which was a great deal considering how much content was packed in. Ms. Splosion Man promises a similar numbers of levels and additional, brand-new modes, so logic says the sequel will be an even better deal, but let’s wait for our review next week just to be safe.
