Ministry of Anti-Fun bans late-night online gaming. Boo! Hiss! Etc!

As you settle down tonight for a marathon session of Battlefield Bad Company 2 or World of Warcraft or whatever, spare a thought for gamers in Vietnam who will soon beBANNED from enjoying late-night online gaming.

From March 3, internet service providers acting on the request of the country's Ministry of Information and Communication (aka the Ministry of Anti-Fun) will block access to online games between the hours of 10pm and 8am. The reason for this authoritarian pissing on the chips? To reduce the side-effects of online gaming, which the ministry feels is 'affecting the lifestyle and customs of young people'.

Major bummer. It sounds like The Big Bad Man trying to stand in the way of change. Which is like pissing in the wind. So not only has he got piss on everyone's chips, he's also got it covered all over himself. What a mess.

If anyone's got any good suggestions for what to do at night-time without online games, please let the yoof of Vietnam know in the comments.

I don't have the energy to really hate anything properly. Most things I think are OK or inoffensively average. I do love quite a lot of stuff as well, though.
