Sony's launching an in-ear PS4 headset with noise reduction

Time for a new headset but hate over-ear cans? Well you're in luck. Sony has revealed a new in-ear headset for PS4 launching in December. Using something known as 'AudioShield' - no idea what that is but it sounds good - the headset removes unwanted noise from the world around you so farewell washing machine, be gone next door neighbour's obsession with that Demi Lovato track, and goodbye other humans.

The AudioShield feature requires charging with the supplied USB cable but can last up for up to fifteen hours worth of noise cancelling. With a standard 3.5mm jack, the headset plugs into your DualShock 4 as standard and includes a built in mic. Plus, there's no need to take them out of your ears as the headphones work with smartphones and tablets too.

Price wise, the headset is £77.99/ €89.99 and will be out on December 4th in the UK and Ireland and across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Africa from December 9th. You can find out more on the PlayStation Blog.
