Martin Scorsese isn't likely to ever direct a Super Mario Brothers movie, but in the off-chance that he did, we can only hope that the final product would come close to the gritty perfection that is this GTA inspired machinima mash-up.

Directed by the YouTube comedy troupers at Country Club, The Brothers Mario shines a harsh light on the seedy underbelly of the Mushroom Kingdom. It isn't pretty, but life on the streets of the 'shroom rarely is...

Mario and Luigi as street level thugs? Yoshi and Toad as rough and tumble gang-banging? Rockstar needs to get on this yesterday.
