Spies vs. Mercs mode is back in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and Ubisoft gives us an extended look at the asymmetrical competition in this video from Comic-Con. The new Blacklist variant throws four third-person Spies and four first-person Mercs into one arena--no hiding place is safe from four sets of searching eyes.
Pandora Tomorrow's classic two-on-two matches are still available if you prefer their deliberate pace. There's theoretically a single-player mode in Blacklist somewhere, too, but with Spies vs. Mercs and several co-op only missions, we may spend more time sneaking around online.
Blacklist will hit PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on August 20.
