As a high schooler, I think I had a lot of the same concerns as other girls: acne before picture day, getting good grades so I could go to a college really far away, bending curfew rules without getting in trouble, and finding “true love.” According to Photo Girlfriend, the soon-to-be-released PSP game in Japan, there’s apparently a new problem troubling young teenage girls.

A creepy photographer boyfriend.

While Photo Girlfriend is a typical dating sim in many ways, the emphasis on its photography feature creates a scenario where your budding desire to become the next Terry Richardson while simultaneously hoping to be the Hideki to one character’s Chi combines into one socially awkward situation. No word if the line, “Have you ever thought of getting into modeling?” creates a love at first sight scenario or if the title will be released outside of Japan.

@ShadowBroker23 Japanese people use Kanji when they write, all the time, it's adopted from chinese writing. Kanji is used most then hiragana and finally katakana all 3 are used in the video.

So this trailer starts off with the usual pervy japanese schoolgirl thing (it's not harassment if the narrator is female!), I turn away to watch a world of tanks video, and when I look back it's god damn Sailor Moon. wtf is going on here?
