Ubisoft has confirmed today that Brothers in Arms 3 will be released for Xbox 360 later this year, potentially launching before the PS3 version that was announced last year.
The next-gen sequel sees Baker and company returning to the frontline during WWII, with destructible environments - bullets smashing through wood, doors blowing off their hinges - and new leaning and blind firing abilities for your team that help them keep behind cover while still laying down suppressing fire.
With the UK release of PlayStation 3 looking increasingly likely to slip right through to 2007, Brothers in Arms 3 might be the first in a line of next-gen multiformat games that hit Xbox 360 long before PS3 is even released. We'll have more details soon.
