Batman: Arkham City fans will soon have their fill of Rocksteady's sequel with the upcoming release of a Game of the Year Edition and the Harley Quinn's Revenge Pack DLC.
Swooping in for retail on May 29 in North America (September 7 in the UK), the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition will ship with all previously released DLC, including the Catwoman Pack, Robin Bundle Pack, Nightwing Bundle Pack, and Arkham City Skins. In addition, North American versions of the GOTY release will be fitted with a copy of the Batman: Year One animated movie.
The uber-edition will also feature the “final chapter” of Arkham City's DLC, called Harley Quinn's Revenge Pack. As hinted in last week's report, Batman: Arkham City devs tease a fan-favorite for new DLC, the expansion will extend the Arkham City storyline with new missions featuring Batman, Robin, and the psychotic henchwoman in question. As well as starring in the GOTY release, it will be sold as a standalone download on the PlayStation Network starting May 29 (one day later in the UK) for $9.99, and Xbox Live on May 30 for 800 Microsoft Points.
Warner Bros did not list a price for the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, but we can safely say it will be worth the cash – especially for those who have yet to lose themselves in Rocksteady's superb Arkham Asylum follow-up.
