When is the next Fortnite live event, Super Showdown?
The next Fortnite live event will be Super Showdown, which is taking place in the battle royale on August 2, 2025

The next Fortnite live event is almost here, and this time we have a Super Showdown to look forward to. There are strange things happening at Demon's Domain, so you'll need to join forces with Superman to investigate and deal with anything that occurs there. Unlike the recent Blast Off live event that took place exclusively in Fortnite OG, we're back in the main Battle Royale for this story event as we push forward towards the launch of Fortnite Season 4. To find out more, here's everything we know so far about the next Fortnite live event.
What time is the Fortnite live event
The next Fortnite live event is taking place on Saturday August 2, 2025, and thanks to a recent announcement we know it has a confirmed start time of 11:30am PDT / 2:30pm EDT / 7:30pm BST with doors opening half an hour beforehand, which roughly follows the same format as previous live events.
What will happen during the Fortnite live event?
We don't have the full details about the next Fortnite live event at this stage, as Epic want to keep some surprises for when players jump into the Super Showdown experience. However, the official description tells us that it's "Time to step up and be a hero!" and that we need to "Save the island from Daigo at Demon’s Domain."

In the above leaked event trailer we get a glimpse of Demon's Domain rippling with strange power, before what appears to be a gigantic purple creature with a huge glowing eye emerges from within – which you'll need to defeat by joining forces with Superman. It's likely that Demon's Domain will get significantly damaged or even destroyed completely during this event, changing the landscape in that corner of the island.
