Agency Test
The agency test will most likely unlock in new game+ so if you want the Sandbox achievement for clearing one of each test, be sure to boot it up and dive in.
There are 3 agency tests and they’ll pit you against the wiliest of enemies yet--Red. The Process will spawn a shadow Red equipped with all of the functions that are available to the player. When her HP bar hits zero, she’ll overload and keep doing so until she’s depleted 3 functions and has a single life bar left, just like the real thing.
Don’t underestimate the value of Jaunt in this scenario--it allows you to move a considerable distance for a low cost in the Turn bar. Shadow Red will most likely be using it to swoop in, cut you up and swoop on out again and you should be doing the same.
Her Turn gauge has a cooldown period as well so balancing the right distance to keep between the two of you to ensure that you can squeeze in more turns than her is key. Attacks that slow her will be useful, giving you time to retreat and recharge without being pursued, then triggering a Turn before she’s had a chance to respond.
You can customise your loadout before each encounter so choose wisely. If there’s one thing video games should’ve taught you, it’s that doppelganger skirmishes are always the most brutal!
You should now be equipped with enough knowledge to fly through these tests with the ease of an oiled up trapeze artist through a flaming ring of fire. In theory everything should go smoothly, but expect a little trial and error here and there… have fun!
