EA has shown off its first official teaser for Titanfall 2, and while it doesn't give you too much to go on, it's very exciting for fans of mech-sized cutlery. The company plans to give Respawn Entertainment's sophomore effort a proper reveal on June 12, presumably at its E3 parallel EA Play event.
The trailer shows a drop pod smoking and sparking in an alien jungle, where it's approached approached by a sword-wielding Titan. Respawn has confirmed that the sequel will feature a single-player campaign, so we could be looking at a scene pulled from or inspired by the story here. I'll bet your pilot protagonist is chilling in that pod, eager to trade up for a Titan.
The teaser also re-confirms that Titanfall 2 is headed to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The original game never released on Sony's platform.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar.
