Second LA Noire gameplay trailer breaks down investigation and interrogation

May 17, the day detective thriller LA Noire finally hits stores,can't come quickly enough. In the meantime, Rockstar wants to ensure that interest in the game stays high, and so it's released another lengthy, detail-filled preview trailer for us to chew on, this time explaining exactlyhow investigation and interrogation – two key features that help set LA Noire apart from more chaotic open-world games– will work. And while we went into detail about those in ourlast hands-on preview, sometimes it's just more interesting to see it on video.

Likethe last gameplay video(which gave a more general overview of the game), the above "trailer" is less a cool ad and more a Rockstar-created preview, this time offering up specifics on how you'll direct interviews with suspects.The trailer also throws a little more light on the adventure game-like aspects of finding and examining clues (think Phoenix Wright, but a lot bigger, prettier and more open to exploration and error), but the focus here is mainly on showing off your options when chatting up suspects. Also, fans of Mad Men and/or Heroes might recognize a few of the faces in the video, so keep a sharp eye out.
