August 20, 2026: I updated this guide with the fresh arrivals for the Override season, along with those weapons heading to and returning from the vault.
New Fortnite weapons have been deployed for Season 4 of Chapter 7, which tie in with the general gaming legends theme. These include the 8-Bit Shotgun, which reloads using game cartridges and has a built-in scoreboard system to track your combo multiplier as you go, and the 1-Up Token that lets you respawn with your complete inventory if you get eliminated!
Practical items have been added too, including the Tetris Rift that spawns in a collection of tetriminos that rain down from the sky, building a wall to offer you temporary protection before the iconic 4-line Tetris clear deletes it and splashes a large healing AOE effect over the surrounding area.
As always with a fresh season of Fortnite, there are some previous guns that have now been consigned to the vault, while other items from seasons past have been unvaulted to make their return to the game. To get up to speed, here are all of the new weapons in Fortnite Season 4, and everything that has been vaulted and unvaulted.

Fortnite new weapons
Season 4 introduces a suite of armaments for you to find and earn in Fortnite, including new weapons that will be unlocked later in the Override season. Here are the Fortnite weapons that are currently available in Season 4:
- 1-Up Token: Respawn with your full inventory after getting eliminated
- 8-Bit Shotgun: Automatic shotgun with game cartridge reloads, pixel effects, and a scoreboard system to track combo multipliers
- God Mode Llama: Become an Unstoppable Wrecking Ball with the true Llama power
- Mega Buster: Can fire single energy pellets, quick-charged shots, or long-charged explosive projectiles while sprinting or slide-boosting
- Midas' Masterpiece: Single-fire golden pistol that can eliminate foes with a single headshot, though ammo is limited
- Sonic Power Sneakers: Charge up a grounded Spin Dash or jump for an airborne Spin Attack
- Tetris Rift: Rift in Tetris pieces for a defensive barrier, then a 4-line Tetris clear splashes a large AOE heal

Fortnite vaulted weapons and items
Now that the Runners season is over, many of the previously available weapons and items have been removed from the loot pool. We're still waiting for confirmation of exactly which items have been vaulted, but they are likely to include some or all of the following:
