While doing my weekly scroll through the official Nintendo online store, I stumbled upon a sight that has my bank account in shambles, an official Yoshi Egg Teapot and Cup Set. My partner and I recently invested in the Hatchin' Yoshi, one of the best toys I've seen as a Super Mario fan, so I assumed my egg-shaped collectible hole in my life had been filled, but how wrong I was.
This teapot is as glorious as my beloved and favorite green dino, from its green speckled Yoshi spots to the egg-dome shaped exterior. It's not even just a teapot either, but the top can be lifted and transforms into a cup and saucer. I never knew I wanted to invite my adult friends over for a Yoshi-themed tea party, but it's hard to think about anything else when it's available for £29.99 at Nintendo today.
The teapot isn't the only new item fit for a Yoshi-themed tea party, as Nintendo has hatched a range of fluffy Yoshi egg plushies for £24.99 (Nintendo) each. They're available in the typical green egg design, but there's also blue, pink, and yellow versions to choose from. If my friends or I spill some tea (literally, not figuratively), Nintendo has also listed an official Yoshi Decorative Cloth at the UK store, which looks ideal for mopping up spills. These are all just on the UK Nintendo store for now, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these egg-cellent items will hatch on the US store too.

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
