Saints Row: The Third's Gangstas in Space DLC debuts February 21

When last we left the Third Street Saints, our anti-heroes were competing for big prizes and mass carnage in Genkibowl VII. Now, Shaundi, Pierce, Oleg, and the team are suiting up to star in a new story-based DLC pack entitled Gangstas in Space, arriving Tuesday, February 21.

As advertised on billboards and in radio ads throughout the original game, Gangstas in Space is the title of a cheesey, 1950s-esque sci-fi film being shot in Steelport as a promotional vehicle for the Saints. Players who chose to save Shaundi in the final “Three-Way” mission will have already had a taste of the DLC's look and feel, as it is the very same film the Saints are shown to be shooting before the final credits roll.

“With the world waiting in anticipation of the very first Saints movie, there’s a lot on the line, and it’s your job to act the part,” explained Volition in its last news update. “Starring the Boss and introducing Jenny Jaros as Princess Kwilanna, you’ll experience action, drama, blow-up dolls, and one hell of an alien invasion through a series of new missions.”

Gangstas in Space is free for Saints Row: The Third Season Pass holders, or $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) otherwise. The final batch of planned DLC, The Trouble With Clones, is scheduled for this spring.
